Pallav C. is the Associate Vice President at HCL Technologies. He leads Nippon, an HCLTech workforce productivity solution, focusing on data-driven insights for strategic people decisions, with an approach that prioritizes collaborative change management, training, and empowerment over just data. With over 22 years of experience, he has a consulting background advising enterprises on business design and performance. He has worked with brands such as EY, FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj Auto Ltd. He was part of Berkeley EPM 2022-2023 and has shared his experience of the program.
Why did you choose to participate in the Berkeley EPM at this stage of your career?
Covid and the lockdown gave me the opportunity to reflect on what I could do to reinvent myself, improve and grow as a better professional and as a better human being. Among some of the thoughts that came through was joining a global program that gives a well rounded opportunity for self-development that could be a valuable addition to the next phase of my career. This brought me to choosing Berkeley EPM.
How was your experience with the faculty?
Such a learned and experienced faculty – Professors Gregory LaBlanc, Peter D. Goodson, Alex Budak, Whitney Hischier, Holly Schroth, Sara Beckman, Wasim Azhar, Robert Strand, Kellie A. McElhaney, Cort Worthington, Panos Patatoukas, and so many more. Their insightful lectures and the way they shared their immensely valuable wisdom with us was incredible. The takeaways and learnings have been immensely useful for the next phase of my life.
How was your overall experience of the program?
It is a purpose driven program and a fabulous learning experience with experienced faculty, insightful content, a wonderful cohort and new friendships to cherish for life.
