Vikas Jaswal is the Senior Vice President – Head of Corporate and Institutional Business Services Technology at Northern Trust Corporation, with more than 22 years of experience and a strong foundation in IT spearheading large, global financial technology products to address business digitization or resolve issues and conforming to industry guidelines/regulations. He has worked with companies such as Northern Trust Corporation, Fidelity Investments, NatWest Group, and Barclays Investment Bank. He has expertise in strategy planning, architecture, development, and implementation of business applications. He was part of the Chicago Booth ADP 2022 – 2023 cohort and shares his experience of the program.
How was your overall program experience?
My executive education journey has been an incredible and transformative experience. From day one, I was immersed in a stimulating and intellectually rigorous environment that pushed me to expand my knowledge, challenge conventional thinking, and develop a strategic mindset.

Skinner, Prof. Lucia Annunzio, Prof. Greg Bunch, Prof. John Burrows, Prof. Scott Meadow, and Prof. Hal Weitzmann gave us their unwavering support and collaboration throughout this journey. Their collective commitment to excellence has undoubtedly contributed to the success of the program and the growth of each individual within it.
- The rigorous curriculum was designed to equip us with the skills necessary to tackle complex business challenges and drive meaningful change within our organizations. Furthermore, the extensive resources and support available to students were truly exceptional.
- There was emphasis on experiential learning through real-world projects, case studies, and global business immersions that further enriched our understanding of the intricacies of the business world.
How was your peer group experience?
One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse cohort of accomplished professionals from various industries and backgrounds. The collaborative nature of the program fostered rich discussions, allowing us to gain fresh insights, broaden our perspectives, and develop a global business network that will undoubtedly prove invaluable in the years to come.
