Jatin Oza is the Director, Application Managed Services at Protera Technologies, with more than 18 years of experience and a strong foundation in the field of information technology. He has worked with companies such as E-Comm Opportunities Pvt. Ltd., Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd., IBM, Gujarat Gas Company Limited (BG Group), and Protera Technologies. He has expertise in the implementation and transformation of SAP and other enterprise applications, software design and development, program management and project delivery management, and technology services management with global delivery teams. Additionally, he is a SAP Certified Professional with SAP S/4HANA Implementation Scenarios for Architects, SAP Fiori Implementation Scenarios, and OS/DB Migration. In the past 5 years, as part of his leadership role, Jatin has been working on leading global professional teams that are responsible for various digital transformation and business transformation projects, especially moving and managing large enterprise class workloads on various hyperscale cloud platforms such as SAP RISE, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. He was part of the Chicago Booth ADP 2022 – 2023 cohort and shares his experience of the program.
What was your thought process while choosing this program at this stage in your career?
It is a tough call to make when you have an ongoing professional life, where you are quite busy with work. Since executive education needs serious time commitment. But within a year, I was selected to be a part of one of the most respected executive education programs. And the selection made me extremely excited and overjoyed, but at the same time anxious about the time management. However, I had no idea at the time that it would completely change my leadership journey.
How was your overall program experience?
It was one of the best leadership education and learning experiences of my professional journey. It was an honor to be coached at one of the world’s best executive education institutes by some of the most influential faculty, such as Prof. Douglas Skinner, Prof. Lucia Annunzio, Prof. Scott Meadow, Prof. Hal Weitzman, Prof. John Burrows, Prof. Jean-Pierre Dube, Prof. Greg Bunch, Prof. Pradeep Chintagunta, and Prof. Kathleen Fitzgerald. Additionally, the experience of learning through the onsite modules in London, Delhi, and Chicago gave me an opportunity to see different perspectives and dynamics of business and life in different geographies and cultures.
How was your peer group experience?
It was a wonderful experience knowing, working with, hosting, and learning with my peers. They are some of the smartest leaders in the industry who are now a part of my professional and personal life.
