Asfar Khan is the Vice President and Head of Technology at American Towers Corporation. With over 25 years of experience, he has experience in the areas of developing, implementing, and managing digital ecosystems across consulting, telecom, retail, CPG/FMCG, and passive infrastructure. His expertise lies in team management and training, performance management, resource optimization, operational support, infrastructure management, architecting solutions, advanced management competencies like design thinking, strategic financial management and leading innovative change. His focus has been building capabilities around streamlining operations and developing the technology deployment space within industries where the core business is not technology. He also has developed a keen insight into developing market deployments of technology platforms specific to Africa, Middle East and Asia. He was part of the Berkeley EPM 2016 – 2017 cohort and shares his experience of the program.
