Remote Working Affects your Health

How does Remote Working Affect your Health?

Remote working offers flexibility, as well as its share of frustrations. Chicago Booth’s Lindsey Lyman has concerns that remote working affects your health emotionally and physically.

There is a significant impact of social isolation. She explains that, “humans are social creatures, and socializing with pixels is just different than socializing with people in the flesh”. This coupled with the already dangerous amounts of screen time we experience, can have a negative impact on emotional health. And this is largely separate from the work-related screen time and isolation.
