While emotional self-regulation assists individuals in recognizing, understanding, and managing their emotions in order to channel them into useful ways of thinking and acting, dual awareness assists them in integrating their productive thoughts and feelings. Finally, the article suggests that these three talents may be developed through reflection, leading to increased adaptability.
