Why did you decide to participate in UCLA PGP PRO at this stage in your career?
When I was searching for a management program, I was asked questions like, “Why do you need an executive management program when you have extensive experience in the industry?”, “Aren’t you equipped with enough knowledge now to take yourself to the next level?” Or, “Why don’t you build upon your ideas and become an entrepreneur instead, as most people running successful businesses haven’t done any MBA?”
All valid points. It’s not that I am not confident enough to do as suggested. But what if I can do much better with the aid of structured learning in management and leadership? What if my way forward turns out to be completely different if I am more equipped with deeper knowledge and sharper leadership capabilities?
What was your highlight of the program?
I was looking for a management program that could help me deliver greater value to my organization and develop better leadership skills, while also helping me build a strong peer network of executives and entrepreneurs. And that is exactly what I got with UCLA PGP PRO! Diverse cohort, esteemed international faculty, highly insightful learning sessions and courses – a great learning journey!
