Swati Jain is the Regional People Operations Manager – APAC, at Booking.com, with more than 12 years of experience and a strong foundation in the field of HR. She has worked with companies such as Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, Ranbaxy, Trident Group India, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, GoBear, 90 Seconds, and Booking.com. Her expertise lies in talent acquisition, strategic business partnering, HR operations, and implementing HR systems. She has held leadership positions and managed cross functional teams across various sectors, including travel, media, fintech, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. She was part of the NUS HRLP 2022 cohort and shares her experience of the program.
How was your overall program experience?
The program was an enriching learning experience in which we went through a rigorous learning process, covering 22 modules that covered some of the most important practical topics and challenges that occur in the domain of HR, tackled by current CHROs and business leaders.
What about the program stood out to you?
The wonderful guidance and mentorship provided by the faculty, such as Professors Andrew Delios and Michael Jenkins, and Shaily Gupta, over the course of 6 months, stood out for me the most.
How was your peer group experience?
The peer group experience was purely joyful and super insightful. As I brainstormed inspirational ideas, cracked case studies, and applied strategic frameworks with some of the senior HR professionals across the globe.
