Richard Hosein is the Chief Growth Officer at Thinkhat, the President of the Global Healthcare Leadership Foundation, as well as a strategic advisor and board member for several companies. With approximately 25 years of experience, Richard is an experienced health care leader, dedicated to advancing transformative innovation in health care on a global scale. With a passion for integrating cutting-edge AI technologies, he works to bridge the gap between medical technology and clinical excellence, creating solutions that address both simple and complex health care challenges. His expertise lies in business development, sales, leadership, sales management, and more. He leverages his expertise to lead the charge in growth strategy, sales, marketing, and talent acquisition, driving the success of AI-powered ventures that tackle some of the most pressing challenges in life sciences and health care. Richard completed the Global Health Care Leaders Program from Harvard Medical School Executive Education in 2023-24 and has shared his experience of the program.
How was your overall experience of the program?
The Global Health Care Leaders Program has been nothing short of transformative. I am deeply grateful for the curation of such a comprehensive and enlightening program. I am also grateful to the distinguished professors and my talented cohort members for a learning experience brimming with inspiration, education, and profound leadership lessons.
My learning has been enriched by conversations with global leaders and esteemed professors about today’s health care landscape. Through the course of the program I have gained profound insights, and joining this network is exhilarating.
What was your experience with the faculty?
I have immense gratitude to the faculty shaping our path. Engaging with leaders from diverse backgrounds has enhanced my understanding of global health care challenges and opportunities. Each session was a masterclass in innovation, strategy, and empathy, equipping us with the tools to address pressing health care needs across borders. I am grateful for the knowledge, innovation, and growth.
Has the program changed your outlook on your career in any way?
The insights gained from this program underscore the importance of cross-cultural collaboration and the power of unified efforts in creating sustainable health outcomes worldwide. I am committed to leveraging this experience to contribute to impactful health care initiatives, aiming for a future where quality health care is accessible to all.
What was your experience with the cohort?
What I find particularly exciting is the potential of our cohort to influence global health care positively. There were leaders from Miami, Boston, Canada, and Puerto Rico, all working together on teamwork, growth, and leading the charge. It was great to see us coming together from different places to make big things happen in health care. I look forward to crossing paths with my cohort members again as we work towards our shared vision for a healthier world. We continue to inspire each other and strive for excellence in everything we do. The journey ahead is promising, and I am thrilled to embark on this path with each of them.
The opportunity to expand my global health care family has been a privilege, and the prospect of making a tangible global impact together excites me even more.
