Why Humans Literally See Things Differently

According to new UC Berkeley research, a unique visual fingerprint causes all humans to see things differently. Vision scientists, as they are called, discover why humans literally don’t see eye to eye. And this doesn’t only apply to concepts and constructs such as politics and sports.

The discovery by study lead author Zixuan Wang, a UC Berkeley doctoral student in psychology, and fellow researchers in UC Berkeley’s Whitney Laboratory for Perception and Action will affect the practices of medicine, technology, driving and sports, and other fields.
