For more than a decade, we have eagerly waited for a boost in productivity due to exponential technologies or Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. And finally that has started to take shape. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there has been an unexpected boost in productivity. But the reason is not solely the remote work aspect of it. Rather, it is the understanding that this is not a temporary fix, but a change in the way work is viewed. So there is a need to articulate work and the nature of work in a way that allows technology to augment human behavior and requirements.
