Work From Home Protocols and Astronaut Routines

The new work from home protocols can be improved by taking notes from how astronauts conducted their routines for work. That’s not what you would automatically think of to find a solution to our new global situation. But it is an interesting and compelling one.

With the understanding that work from home protocols and hybrid work will continue after the pandemic, it is only sensible to make the process and situation more efficient. After two years of working from home, there are many positives but there are still some challenges.

The key to this is routine, schedules and organization; something astronauts are well-versed with. Managers can adopt some of how astronauts plan and organize their time that can lead to better management of work in a work from home environment where work-life and home-life overlap.
