Tech Regulations and Society

Terry Kramer is an adjunct professor of operations and technology management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the faculty director of the Easton Technology Management Center. He studies the balance between advancing technology and minimizing negative consequences on society.

The technology regulation expert discusses the history of backlash against technology and the reason why we can’t rely on governments to make the right decisions when it comes to tech regulations. He talks about the debate on regulating technology and tech companies, the misconceptions people have about it, and how technology has drastically changed our lives.
