Office Plans During the Pandemic

Cristina Banks, director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Healthy Workplaces, has reviewed a number of new office plans inspired by the needs of the pandemic, and the possibilities of working in a virtual world.

After she conducted her review she discovered that all plans have a “common weak point”. She explains that human nature has not been accounted for in these plans. Human nature means that will be some lapses in motivation, even through a pandemic, and that has not been taken into consideration. She expresses that the plans are focused more on the inconvenience of wearing masks rather than on people’s health.
