AI for Construction Sites in Europe

The British-Israeli startup Buildots has started using AI for construction sites in Europe. Image recognition software flags delays or errors in construction automatically. Roy Danon is the founder and CEO of the British-Israeli startup Buildots, which is developing an image recognition system that monitors every detail of an ongoing construction project and spots things that are falling behind.

Construction sites, even the really large ones, are usually monitored by only a handful of managers. Danon insists that there is no way humans can control as much as is required at construction sites. The consultancy Mckinsey estimates that on-site mismanagement costs the construction industry $1.6 trillion a year.

Buildots’ AI for construction can make a huge difference in that area and is already being put to use.
