OVERVIEW

The Global HR Leaders Program (HRLP) from the National University of Singapore Business School is a comprehensive leadership program for Global HR Leaders that is focused on the Future of Work and the associated opportunities for HR Leaders to strengthen and enable their organizations for the digital era. This 6-month program is an immersive experience that focuses on leading-edge human resources transformation that is creating a paradigm shift enabling industries to leapfrog challenges. The NUS Business School faculty alongside leading industry experts will provide rich insights so that you can craft ambitious solutions and shape the future of HR within your organization and industry.

You will learn best practices, evolving strategic frameworks, and digital and technological advancements driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution. You will also learn performance management for a dynamic environment that is trending younger, evolving organizational goals for a rapidly growing and scaling workplace, and the tools to develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives that are necessary to enable the best places to work in the future.

You will achieve all this as you take on increasing responsibilities within your organization and move towards the C-suite, while building an enviable network of peers, colleagues, industry leaders and faculty from NUS who are global thought leaders, and define the HR of tomorrow.

Andrew Delios

Andrew Delios
Vice Dean, MSc Programs,
Professor, Strategy and Policy Department

Professor Andrew Delios is the Vice Dean for MSc Programs and Professor in the Department of Strategy & Policy, NUS Business School. He completed his PhD in 1998 at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University. He became a Fellow of the Academy of International Business in 2013.

Andrew is an author or co-author of more than 100 published journal articles, case studies and book chapters, as well as an author of six books, including China 88: The Real China and How to Deal with It. He served as an Associate Editor and General Editor of the UK-based Journal of Management Studies for seven years. He has also been the editor-in-chief for the Asia Pacific Journal of Management and an area editor at the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. From 2011-2013, Andrew served as the President of the Asia Academy of Management. He is currently Vice-President Programs, while he also serves a three-year appointment on the AIB Board. AIB is the leading academic body for scholars of International Business.

Andrew has worked and lived in Asia for 25 years, including three years in Hong Kong and two in Japan. He has also worked in Australia, Canada, China, Finland, India, New Zealand, the Philippines, Sweden, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam. At NUS, he has taught in numerous programs, including the PhD and Executive MBA programs in Singapore, Thailand, India and the Philippines

Adjunct Associate Professor Management and Organisation,

Michael Jenkins teaches in the NUS Executive MBA programme and is Chief Executive Officer of management consulting firm Expert Humans. Michael has successfully led Leadership Development as CEO of Roffey Park Institute (UK/Singapore); Managing Director of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) – Asia Pacific; Director, INSEAD Executive Education (Asia) and CEO of the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI).

Throughout his career, he has played a hands-on role in directing research and has been a key contributor and thought leader in the topic areas of organisational resilience, compassionate leadership, and developing more humane and productive workplaces. Michael has also worked closely with UK public health organisations to promote better mental health at work and is active in promoting sustainable business leadership. He works closely with HR Institutes and Think-Tanks such as CIPD (UK and Asia), AHRI (Australia), IHRP and SHRI (Singapore).

The UK’s HR Magazine named Michael as one of the UK’s Most Influential Thinkers in Human Resources in 2013 and again in 2016. He recently joined the UK-based FutureWork Forum (which explores the working world of tomorrow) as a Partner. Recent articles (2020/21) include: Finding Simplicity in Chaos: Beyond VUCA; The Chair-CEO relationship–Time to Dial Things Up; CHROs during COVID and beyond: A Resource for CEOs Hidden in Plain Sight and Should the CHRO become part of a Chair-CEO-CHRO Super Trio?
