Inside Insights to Receive VC and Bank Funding

Studies showed that in 2020 angel investors and VCs invested over $156 billion into the companies they supported. This is a 10% increase from 2019 and almost double of what was invested in 2016. Studies also showed that banks lent over $28 billion to small businesses in the 2020 fiscal year (not counting what they gave as COVID-19 relief funds.)

Individual investors, like those generously contributing on crowdfunding sites have also been on the rise. With so much opportunity to get investments towards entrepreneurs and small business owners, there is sound advice for those targeting VC or bank funding. The inside insight is to focus on the tech or e-commerce aspects of the company. Since that has contributed to the large part of investor gains in the recent past.
